About the Role:
As a CA Article Assistant, you will apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations in accounting, audit, taxation, and more, gaining comprehensive exposure to both traditional practices and emerging areas in finance and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in accounting transactions using software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Tally
• Perform reconciliations, including GST and bank reconciliations
• Verify supporting documents and conduct vouching
• Compute income and assist in filing ITRs, ROC Returns, and GSTRs
• Participate in statutory and tax audits for small and medium businesses
• Conduct risk assessments and process audits
• Assist in valuation exercises, primarily using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method
• Handle basic tax litigations, including drafting replies and interacting with tax officers
• Contribute to the formulation of ESOP policies
• Assist in due diligence, tax planning, structuring, and optimization
• Train and manage team members
• Suggest process improvements for both Eleusis and our clients
Requirements:
• Passed both groups of CA (Intermediate) Exams
• Basic understanding of accounting and taxation
• Desire and ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn
• Inclination towards technology, including the use of new-age software and tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Passionate about learning and solving complex problems
